7th Grade Students in Ogemaw Receive Education about Impaired Driving

MyMichigan Community Health hosted a community health fair for 7th grade students at Surline Middle School. Students experienced an impaired driving simulation and were educationed on how alcohol affects the brain. Students enjoyed the experience and were surprised by how much alcohol could affect their coordination. They wore goggles for .08 blood level simulation, affecting eyes only.  The event was well received by the students and over 12 agencies attended.
