Alcona Middle Schoolers Have a Ghoulish Good Time at Substance Free Event

Up North Prevention staff teamed up with the Alcona Junior Honor Society in October to host a Halloween-themed dance event for Alcona Middle Schoolers.  The event was held after school and featured a costume contest, limbo, prevention-branded candy, and two hours of music and dancing.  Helen-Ann Cordes, advisor of the Junior Honor Society was grateful for the connection with Up North Prevention, stating that the program would not be possible without the partnership.  Over 100 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students were in attendance.
