Alpena Students Leading Students are Wrapping Up A Successful First Year

Alpena Students Leading Students (SLS) recently celebrated its five graduating seniors and reflected on the year's accomplishments. The chapter was proud to see that it increased from 9 to 19 members, established an executive board, a social media team, an outreach team, and an events team. An application/interview process was established, and it hosted an SLS activity night.  Next year is already being planned and has exciting events like hosting Nathan Harmon, a motivational speaker, and opening the SLS lounge. It is amazing what motivated students can accomplish!
