Celebrating Success: Tawas Wellness Warriors Raise Over $300 for Students Leading Students

The Tawas community has once again demonstrated its unwavering support and generosity. On Thursday, June 13th, the Tawas Wellness Warriors organized a vibrant and successful 5K event, raising over $300 for the Tawas Students Leading Students (SLS) group. This remarkable achievement not only underscores the spirit of our community, but also highlights the dedication of participants, volunteers, and donors who believe in empowering our youth.

The funds raised from this event will directly benefit the Tawas SLS program. SLS is dedicated to cultivating leadership skills in high school students by encouraging them to take active roles in their schools and communities. By fostering peer mentorship and promoting healthy lifestyle choices, SLS helps students develop the confidence and skills needed to lead effectively and make positive changes.

Stay tuned for more events and opportunities to get involved. Together, we are making a lasting impact on our community.
