Empowering Students: Botvin Lifeskills Training for Stronger Decision-Making and Resilience in Roscommon County

The Roscommon Drug Free Coalition/Three Lakes Communities That Care have been actively working to provide Botvin Lifeskills Training to students, both inside and outside of the classroom. Throughout the 2024-2025 school year, more than 600 students were reached by the program, which delivered crucial messages related to self-esteem, decision-making, safe social communication, crisis management, and drug information.

This initiative aims to strengthen students' abilities in these key areas, ultimately helping them make healthier choices and reduce the likelihood of engaging in high-risk behaviors. The overarching goal of the program is to enhance students' knowledge and decision-making skills, empowering them to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.
