INDEPTH (Intervention for Nicotine Dependence: Education, Prevention, Tobacco, and Health), developed by the American Lung Association, is an interactive program that teaches teens ages 14-18 about nicotine dependence, establishing healthy alternatives and making the change to be free of all nicotine products. INDEPTH is a forward-thinking alternative to suspension or citation for tobacco and e-cigarette use.
The 4-hour program is free of charge for Northern Michigan students/youth who have demonstrated high risk behavior related to nicotine products and is facilitated by a certified instructor. Registration can be completed at https://www.upnorthprevention.org/
