The Grand Traverse County Drug Free Coalition collaborated with the Michigan State Police to hold a Stuff a Blue Goose event. With the help from some of our Students Together against Negative Decisions (STAND) Club students, we filled the back of two police cars with the toys and basic needs items that we collected. The toys were donated to Single MOMM, a local non-profit with a mission to ignite hope, healing, and confidence within single moms, and were given to children for Christmas. The basic needs items were donated to the Grand Traverse Basic Needs Coalition, a local group that provides basic needs items to those experiencing homelessness in our community.
