Ogemaw Drug Free Coalition Brings Programs and Presentations to Over 500 Students this Year

Ogemaw Drug Free Coalition supports evidence-based programs that work with students in the schools, during lunch, after school, and wherever they can gather.  Helping students to build social skills as well as increasing their knowledge of high-risk decisions and the dangers of substance use on youth brain development are all protective measures for their health and life goals. Those life goals also are one of the most powerful ways to protect against high-risk choices. The Drug Free Coalition works with schools, churches, courts, and agencies to bring these programs to youth and young adults. This year we brought programs and presentations to 3 schools and over 500 students.
