On April 22, 2023, families gathered at the Gaylord Middle School from 10am-2pm in celebration of Earth Day. Community organizations set up tables with information, activities, crafts and snacks. Stephanie Weizer, Prevention Specialist, with Up North Prevention attended the fair with her two young sons. She provided information on talking to your children about drugs and locking up medications out of reach, a healthy snack of fruit, and a craft. Children and parents came to the table to create rainbows with positive affirmations written on them. Many parents worked together with their children to write down meaningful affirmations that they then took home to cherish.\
