Students at Alpena High School Work to Address the Opioid Epidemic and Best Use of Opioid Settlement Dollars

The Alpena High School Social Issues class was tasked to learn about the opioid epidemic and how they felt the county’s $2,000,000 settlement dollars could be used to assist the citizens in Alpena County most affected by the opioid crisis. The students teamed up and presented their findings in PowerPoint presentations- identifying how they felt the dollars could best be used to address opioid recovery in Alpena County.
